The GMDB scientific advisory board

The scientific advisory board (SAB) of GMDB provides advice, support and guidance to the GMDB team on the scientific direction, strategy, operations, and furtherance of its scientific mission. The SAB is also responsible for making the decisions about scientific access to the resource, notably those regarding the use GMDB data for machine learning and next-generation phenotyping. Members give their time and expertise to the project freely and discuss proposals that are pivotal in advancing the resource to deliver its strategy. Their broad skills and expertise ensure enhancements to GMDB meet the needs of the global research community, are scientifically relevant and meet the challenge of improving public health.
