How can I analyze a patient photo with GestaltMatcher AI?

You can analyze a patient photo using GestaltMatcher AI in two ways:

• Via GestaltMatcher Database (GMDB) or
• Via the GestaltMatcher app on your mobile device.

Via GMDB (web-based)

1. Log in at www.db.gestaltmatcher.org.
2. Go to My Data → Analyze patient.
3. Upload the image you want to analyze.
4. Click Send image to start the analysis.
5. The result will be displayed after the analysis is completed, which usually takes less than one minute.

Images analyzed this way are not stored unless you explicitly create a case in GMDB. They are automatically deleted after the AI analysis.

Via the GestaltMatcher app (mobile device)

1. Open the app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Use Take photo to capture a new image, or Select image to upload one from your device.
3. Tap Next to run the AI analysis.
4. The result will be displayed after the analysis is completed, which usually takes less than one minute.

Note: Images analyzed via the app are not uploaded as a case to GMDB. The app stores them temporarily in the Archive until you delete the analysis yourself.
