Photorealistic Synthetic Portraits

Here we show photorealistic synthetic portraits of certain rare diseases based on the cohort from GestaltMatcher DB. A common way to create average faces is by overlaying patient portraits on top of each other (left), but this often results in a blurry image. Considering that we created the much sharper latent space representation (right) generated by our GestaltGAN model. Instead of averaging the patient portraits directly, the features characteristic to the disorder are averaged in the latent space instead. If you are interested in having an average face from your cohort, please do not hesitate to contact us!
